Maintains the operations of field stores.
Essential Functions- Supports all users/customers with required materials and services. Controls inventory levels.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
High School diploma/GED.
Related experience may offset degree requirements and related education/degree may offset experience requirements.
Minimum ExperienceSix (6) years aircraft inventory control desired, general warehousing or material planning experience.
Knowledge of FAA, IATA, hazardous materials and other applicable regulatory requirements.
Three (3) years experience in dangerous goods shipping, federally regulated materials or auditing according to IATA regulations and aircraft parts receiving according to FAA regulations.
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesKnowledge of data processing/ computer use as it relates to inventory control.
Good communications skills, ability to work unsupervised and work variable shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
Job ConditionsMust be 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
Must satisfactorily complete all required training including dangerous goods, initial receiving and suspected unapproved parts.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver any single container up to 3,000 lbs. with appropriate equipment or assistance from another person.

Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Pay: 28.25 - 42.37 USD Hourly
Additional Details:This posting will close at 5PM on Sept. 13, 2026, the desired location for this position is Oakland. Employees will be required to work at the Fed Ex location five days a week.
