Role Overview

Our Ecommerce Marketing Manager is a strategic, hands‑on leader responsible for shaping and executing digital growth strategies across a diverse portfolio of adult toy brands. This role combines high‑level brand stewardship with tactical execution: you will lead, manage, and personally contribute to a wide range of marketing functions across eCommerce, retention, acquisition, content, PR, social media, and affiliate partnerships.

Innov8 requires someone who can think strategically and dive into the work—writing briefs, evaluating campaigns, fixing urgent problems, analyzing data, and guiding junior staff and agency partners. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑moving environment, is energized by constraints, and is motivated by delivering excellence for multiple brands simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Planning
  • Develop comprehensive digital marketing strategies for a portfolio of diverse brands in the adult category, balancing long‑term growth and short‑term revenue goals.
  • Prioritize initiatives and budgets across clients with varying business models, brand values, audiences, and expectations.
  • Work cross‑functionally with product, merchandising, creative, sales, and engineering teams to align marketing execution with brand and business objectives.
Hands‑On Digital Execution
  • Ensure distinct brand voice and site‑specific marketing activities are well represented across multiple channels and brands.
  • Develop in‑depth email and SMS programs that ensure effective brand messaging while targeting communications to optimize repeat business.
  • Oversee SEM partners to ensure ROI with clear budget constraints.
  • Work with partnered PR teams to facilitate effective on‑site execution for promotional campaigns, paid media ads and social campaigns.
  • Monitor site performance and traffic to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor eCommerce marketing trends and develop strategies to expand market share and market voice.
  • Manage affiliate performance and develop strategies to attract and retain valuable traffic.
Client Partnership & Communication
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to our clients—leading manufacturers and retailers in the sexual wellness industry.
  • Translate performance data into clear insights, recommendations, and action plans.
  • Present monthly/quarterly business reviews and collaborate closely with client leadership on roadmap planning.
Agency & Vendor Management
  • Manage client site PR agencies to increase visibility, secure earned media, and amplify brand narratives.
  • Oversee a roster of contractors, designers, copywriters, and marketing specialists—ensuring quality and deadlines.
  • Evaluate and negotiate marketing tools, platforms, and technologies.
Affiliate & Influencer Program Leadership
  • Help build and scale high‑value affiliate programs with an emphasis on content creators, micro‑influencers, and adult‑friendly traffic partners.
  • Navigate compliance and platform restrictions unique to the adult toy market.
  • Test and refine influencer strategies to drive measurable revenue lift.
Analytics & Performance Management
  • Oversee reporting frameworks and KPIs across all brands.
  • Make agile, real‑time adjustments to strategy when marketplace or client needs shift.
Team Leadership & Culture
  • Foster a culture of flexibility, accountability, creativity, and constructive problem‑solving.
  • Mentor junior staff and lead cross‑functional collaboration.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years in digital marketing with at least 3 years in a senior or director‑level role.
  • Deep experience managing multi‑channel eCommerce marketing: email/SMS, SEM, SEO, paid social, CRO, and merchandising.
  • Strong understanding of affiliate/partner marketing and influencer ecosystems.
