Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a critical need ICU position in California requiring current CA RN license and ICU experience.

Job Details

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at a hospital in California,

• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 12 hours per shift,

• 13-week contract assignment,

• Uses EPIC EMR system,

• Patient care involves critical illness management with potential for dialysis and SLED procedures,

Job Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of consideration,

• Minimum 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years), full-time equivalent ICU RN experience,

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program,

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications,

• NIH Stroke Scale Certificate preferred,

• CCRN certification preferred,

• Dialysis or SLED experience preferred,

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred,

• Must provide last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth for consideration,

Additional Information

• Provide direct care to critically ill patients in a high-acuity ICU environment,

• Must maintain active licenses and certifications throughout assignment,

• Assignment may not exceed two years without a required 90-day break per HR policy,

• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers,
