Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a current CA license and recent ICU experience for a night shift critical care position.
Responsibilities- Position is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting
- Patient population includes critically ill adults requiring advanced monitoring and interventions
- 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 13-week assignment duration
- Uses EPIC EMR system
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage complex critical care patients
- Comprehensive orientation provided at assignment start
- Compliance with facility health and vaccination requirements is mandatory
- Local and travel candidates are both accepted at the same rate
- Dress code and scrub requirements must be followed as per hospital policy
- Assignment duration subject to facility HR tenure policy, with a maximum of two consecutive years before a mandatory 90-day break
- Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum of 1 year recent (within past 3 years) full-time ICU nursing experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
- CCRN certification and 2 years of recent ICU experience preferred
- Dialysis or SLED experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred
- Submission requires last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth
