Travel RN - Operating Room - Pediatric

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Pediatric OR position requiring a CA RN license, BSN, and prior Peds General OR experience.

• Active CA RN license required
• BSN required
• Current certifications: BLS and PALS (CNOR preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• Prior Peds General OR experience required
• Teaching hospital experience required
• Trauma Level I experience required (Trauma Level II preferred)
• Epic charting experience required
• 2 professional references from most recent employer required for consideration

• Pediatric Operating Room unit within a children's hospital setting
• 10-hour day shifts with variable start times (0645 or 0845), rotated weekly based on department need
• Monday through Friday schedule with occasional weekends required
• Ability to float to other UCSF facilities as needed, within a 75+ mile radius
• Uses Epic charting system
• Provide perioperative nursing care within a pediatric surgical setting
• Any prior employment with University of California medical facilities or their acquired facilities must be disclosed, including dates worked, units, and manager names for rehire eligibility review
• All requested time off must be disclosed at time of consideration and approved by the manager prior to offer; no additional RTO requests accepted mid-contract, and none permitted within the first two weeks of the assignment
• Travel pairs are allowed but generally will not be placed on the same unit; married couples may not work on the same unit
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
