Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse
- Oakland, CA. This position involves providing specialized care to neonates, infants, and pediatric patients within a Level IV NICU and post-operative surgical unit. The role requires flexibility to float across units and facilities as needed, supporting patient care for a diverse pediatric population.

• Certifications:
  
  CA RN License, AHA BLS & PALS, NRP Certification.
• Education Requirements:
  
  Must have a BSN.

  Experience:
  
  Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience required, with at least 2 years of level 3 & 4 NICU experience.
• Location Requirement:
  California RN License in hand.
• Schedule:
  
  Days shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 11/17/2026 and ending 02/16/2027.
• Responsibilities include administering blood & blood products, managing arterial lines, assisting with lumbar punctures, providing respiratory support such as High Flow Nasal Cannula and ventilator management, and caring for neonatal surgical patients.
• Candidates must be willing and able to float to other units and facilities as needed.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• Must have neonatal, pediatric, or surgical intensive care experience, including managing high acuity patients.
• Previous charge nurse experience and experience with pediatric and neonatal patient ratios are preferred.
• Travel and local candidates are accepted; RTO requests require approval and cannot be within the first two weeks of start.
• Orientation will be scheduled prior to start date, and references from recent employers are required at submission.
