Radius Recycling is seeking a Corporate Security Investigator. The role reports to the Autos and Metals Recycling (AMR) Security Supervisor and supports the AMR Security & Asset Protection Program and the Director–Corporate Security by developing and operating a comprehensive program for protecting assets and securing facilities across all functional and geographic units of the AMR Division. The primary function is conducting fraud and theft investigations.
The Security Investigator also performs threat and site vulnerability assessments and implements security audit protocols and security controls. Other responsibilities, including fraud investigations, may be assigned by the Director–Corporate Security.
Compensation Range: $75,000/year - $95,000/year
Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree within a related field, or combination of education and experience
- 3-5 years experience conducting security investigations
- Strong leadership skills; highly motivated and a self-starter
- Excellent communication skills, including written and oral and the ability to speak with employees at various levels in the organization
- Effective organizational, analytical and research skills in resolving, at times, complex problems
- Knowledge of Crystal Reports and Oracle Business Intelligence preferred, advanced knowledge of Excel required
- Creative ability in reviewing operational risk and developing a reporting solution to mitigate/track
- Possessing one or more professional security certifications such as Physical Security Professional (PSP), Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Professional Certified Investigator (PCI), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or equivalent certifications is a plus
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- This position requires possession of a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive an automobile
