- Security Officer
As a Security Officer
, you will be responsible for safeguarding properties, deterring criminal activity, and ensuring the safety of businesses, construction sites, and residential communities, etc.
Your role requires vigilance, strong decision-making, and excellent communication skills to handle security incidents effectively.
- Thursday – 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Friday – 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Saturday – 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Sunday – 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
$21.00 per hour
Security Guard Responsibilities:- Conduct routine patrols to monitor and secure designated locations.
- Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and unauthorized access.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity and ensure public safety.
- Respond swiftly to incidents and provide support in emergency situations.
- Document daily activity, incidents, and observations accurately in reports.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding security updates and concerns.
Qualifications:
- Valid BSIS Guard Card (required).
- Current with BSIS Compliance:
- 8-Hour Initial Training Certificate
- 32-hour continuing education certificates
- Clean driving record and ability to operate company/site vehicles safely.
- Experience working graveyard shifts.
- Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to remain alert, responsive, and proactive in high-pressure situations.
