Commercial Refrigeration Technician

Job Description

Very competitive pay! We are looking for expert HVAC/R service technicians who can repair and maintain all types of systems.

• Have a minimum of two years of recent field experience and be able to perform general service calls (troubleshooting & inspecting, major & minor repairs), maintenance, and some installations.
• Be reliable and self‑motivated.
• Have knowledge of practices, methods, and equipment used in the installation of HVAC/R systems.
• Use and maintain hand tools, power tools, gauges, and test instruments.
• Take accurate readings and measurements, know how to calculate BTU loads, and be able to read mechanical plans and schematic drawings. Be able to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, and maneuver on job sites.
• Have good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to fill out invoices and courteously interact with customers to resolve disputes efficiently.
• Live in the SF Bay Area or be willing to relocate, have a valid CA driver's license and a clean DMV record.
• Be available to work occasional overtime and emergency service calls. Pass drug test and background check.

Have at least high school education or equivalent, EPA certification, and a technical degree or certificate from an accredited institution.
