Overview

Entry Level Diesel Mechanic at Cox Automotive Inc. Fleet Services. Join our Flee Tec Academy for paid training, free education, and a full‑time mobile diesel technician role.

• Complete 4 weeks of paid classroom training at our Academy Campus.
• Receive classroom instruction on diesel engine fundamentals and truck repair.
• Participate in hands‑on training with a Lead Technician.
• Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs on mobile fleet vehicles at customer locations.

• Desire to start a career as a Diesel Technician.
• Willingness to study hard and dedicate 4 weeks away from home.
• Must be 21 or older and able to drive fleet trucks.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required).
• Ability to operate iPad and technical tools.

• $13.08/hr (or state minimum) + $250/week stipend during training.
• $19/hr for first 6 weeks, $21/hr after graduation.
• Hourly base pay rate $16.44–$24.62/hr, varying by location and qualifications.
