Field Service Tech III
Hourly Range: $24.用了-$27.00, based on experience.
SummaryYou will be the hero in every office you step into, providing innovative, game‑changing solutions for the print management needs of clients across the East Bay area. As our Field Service Technician you’ll maintain, service, and repair office equipment, ensuring reliable operation for black‑and‑white, color, and multifunction printers, copiers, and related devices.
Your core focus is providing on‑site technical support and maintenance, diagnosing equipment issues, completing installations and upgrades, and continuously improving your technical and business skills. Success in this role opens doors for future career growth at Toshiba.
What you’ll do- Provide printer and copier maintenance, service, and repairs to customers
- Deliver product
REC training efficiently and effectively - Diagnose equipment issues and carry out installations and upgrades
- Make modifications, remove old units, and retrofit existing hardware
- Complete field calls according to priority while practicing effective time management
- Continuously enhance your technical skills for field assignments
- Rebuild components at the shop
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical repair
- Experience with document management, MFP, and print devices
- Proven on‑site service and repair experience, managing complex issues and providing solutions
- Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time‑management skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with customers
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and be comfortable with frequent bending, lifting, and reaching
