Job Overview: We are looking for an Anti-Trafficking Supervisor to provide intensive and comprehensive case management services to survivors of labor and sex trafficking, asylees and unaccompanied youth. The Anti-Trafficking program works to find sustainable solutions that are appropriate for the unique situations of each client while concurrently partnering with community organizations and government agencies to raise awareness of human trafficking and identify the needs of survivors.
The Anti-Trafficking Supervisor oversees implementation of a diverse grant portfolio and provides support to staff and clients. This includes staff supervision, grant compliance and reporting, providing limited case management, maintaining documentation, and partnership development.
- Oversight of program contracts including meeting program objectives, budgets, compliance, and grant reporting including drafting reports as required by funders and/or donors;
- Assist with local oversight and strategic development of IRC Oakland’s Anti-Trafficking department
- Reconcile grant budgets for direct client assistance and admin funding in collaboration with the finance department;
- Provide direct supervision to the Anti-Trafficking team;
- Train, onboard, and supervise volunteers and interns associated with the program;
- Build partnerships and work alongside coalitions to improve regional services available to survivors of trafficking via community outreach, training and engagement;
- Hold a limited caseload and conduct trauma-informed comprehensive case management for foreign-born survivors of trafficking to help them feel safe, empowered and stable.
- Ensure acute client needs are met in a timely and culturally appropriate manner;
- Complete individualized initial assessment and safety planning, orientation to services, support, referral, and advocacy services by assessing and evaluating clients’ distinct needs;
- Assist clients with referrals and access to appropriate resources including shelter, physical and mental health services, and legal services to work towards a stable immigration status;
- Prepare, distribute and document direct assistance requests for clients including rent, utilities, and other payments. Maintain record of expenses in case file;
- Oversee and maintain quality documentation in accordance with grant requirements to ensure all direct service and training and outreach activities meet funder guidelines including case notes, case file documentation, service provision, training logs and grant reporting for donor and partner organizations;
- Participate in all IRC program meetings, staff development activities
- As part of IRC Oakland's leadership, participate in all leadership meetings and engagements and contribute to the growth and vision of IRC Oakland

Job Requirements- Undergraduate degree preferred with an emphasis in Social Work, Psychology, or an equivalent field of study;
