How you'll make an impact:

As a Staff Software Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in software engineering to be part of a team driving the development and enhancement of core provisioning systems  will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and optimization of software that drives the provisioning and management of Sirius

XM radio services. Your contributions will directly impact the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our satellite infrastructure, ensuring seamless delivery of audio and data services to our customers. As a key member of the team, you will collaborate on initiatives to integrate new features to meet evolving business requirements. Your solutions and technical contributions will be vital in driving continuous improvement in our provisioning capabilities, empowering Sirius

XM to deliver unparalleled audio entertainment experiences to millions of listeners worldwide.

What you'll do:

As a valued member of our software development team, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and enhancement of core provisioning systems r responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, define system architectures, and develop software solutions that meet the needs of our satellite provisioning infrastructure.
  • Participating in code reviews, providing feedback to ensure the quality, security, and maintainability of our software components.
  • Contributing to the development of performant and scalable software using languages such as Java, C++, and Scala.
  • Conducting thorough testing and debugging of software components to identify and resolve issues, ensuring performance and reliability.
  • Participating in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives to facilitate collaboration and project delivery.
  • Documenting software design specifications, technical documentation, and user guides to support knowledge sharing and maintain system integrity.
