Sr. Ruby on Rails Engineer - AI

If you’re ready to move beyond autocomplete tools like Copilot and ChatGPT, and instead learn how to architect the future of AI-driven engineering
, this is your invitation.

Ruby engineers are some of the best builders in the world—but let’s be honest: AI is rewriting the rules of software development. Git Hub Copilot and ChatGPT are just the tip of the iceberg. The future belongs to engineers who know how to wield agentic coding systems to multiply their output, automate workflows, and build apps that think for themselves.

This isn’t about writing Rails apps the same old way. This is about learning state-of-the-art AI coding techniques that can 20X your productivity, integrating agentic systems into real-world production environments, and setting yourself apart from the engineers who will eventually be replaced.

If you’re a senior Rubyist who wants to evolve—not just survive—the AI revolution, this is your chance.

• Advanced AI

  Skills:

Learn cutting-edge agentic coding patterns that are still invisible to 99% of developers.
• Future-Proof Career: Secure your place in the next era of engineering by becoming an expert in AI-powered systems.
• Exponential Output: 20X your productivity by combining Ruby mastery with agentic AI frameworks.
• Real Impact:
Build production apps that don’t just use AI as a helper—they run on AI.

• Integrate agentic AI systems directly into production Rails applications.
• Architect scalable, maintainable frameworks where AI + human engineers code side by side.
• Apply your deep Ruby/Rails expertise to enhance speed, reliability, and intelligence of applications.
• Work across the stack—Rails, StimulusJS, Hotwire, background jobs, testing—while embedding AI in every layer.
• Pioneer the patterns that will define the next decade of software engineering.

• 5+ years of full-stack Ruby on Rails experience—your fundamentals need to be rock solid.
• A deep love of Ruby and Rails conventions, from tests to gems to system design.
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (but you’re hungry to go way beyond autocomplete).
• An architect’s mindset
: you think in systems, patterns, and long-term scalability.

• Agentic AI experience — whether building with MCP servers, RAGs, or fine-tuning models, you’ve already started down this path.
• You’ve published gems or built OSS libraries.
• You’ve explored Stimulus Reflex, Action Cable, Elasticsearch, or Open search.

This isn’t just another Rails gig. This is an opportunity to future-proof your career and become one of the rare engineers who knows how to build with, not against, AI. The market is shifting fast—and the engineers who master agentic coding will be the ones still standing when the dust settles.

If you’ve been feeling that itch—the quiet anxiety that AI might replace you—this is your chance to flip the script and become the one who replaces everyone else.
