Overview
The part‑time Support Services Coordinator (SSC) oversees all warehouse operations and stock management, including receipt, storage, distribution, and recordkeeping of materials and supplies. The SSC ensures accurate inventory control, efficient order fulfillment, and timely support for campus needs while leading the Campus Support Team.
Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, process, and distribute materials and supplies.
- Pick, pack, palletize, wrap, label, load, and prepare orders for delivery or pickup.
- Maintain accurate inventory records; perform cycle counts and restocking.
- Process and store returned materials appropriately.
- Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and handling equipment.
- Report and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Coordinate shipping, receiving, and dispatch functions.
- Collaborate with Facilities and Events teams to ensure proper setup and support.
- Schedule and oversee Campus Support Team for event setup and teardown.
- Conduct quality checks on assets and monitor expiration dates for consumables.
- Ensure all locations are “Sunday Ready.”
- Oversee event resourcing and manage room reservations.
- Coordinate periodic donation, disposal, or sale of obsolete stock.
- Review Amazon and purchase requests against existing stock.
Technical Knowledge
- Proficient in inventory software, databases, and management systems.
- Strong computer skills; familiarity with Apple macOS.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, OSHA standards, and equipment use.
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
Experience
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory control.
- Working knowledge of order fulfillment and tracking systems.
- Familiarity with forklifts, pallet jacks, and related tools.
- Experience supporting multi‑site or campus operations (preferred).
Organizational Skills
- Strong time management, organization, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Skilled in inventory analysis, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Capable of optimizing warehouse layout and workflows.
Leadership & Teamwork
- Experience leading or training a logistics or support team.
- Effective communicator and collaborative problem solver.
- Demonstrates initiative, reliability, and adaptability.
• Ability to lift and move boxes and supplies regularly.
• Willingness to operate warehouse equipment, vehicles, and trailers.
• Availability for Sunday and special event support.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, orderly work environment.
