Medical Surgical Floor RN Day Shift

Not specified. This position involves providing direct patient care on a 20-bed medical surgical unit within the healthcare provider organization. The role requires strong med-surg experience, adherence to unit protocols, and collaboration with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient outcomes.

• Required Qualifications:
  
  Licensure to submit a valid state license, BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS, NIHSS certifications, minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical surgical setting, and experience with EPIC electronic health records.
• Schedule:
  
  Day shift, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week, starting on 11/09/2026 and ending on 02/08/2027.
• Additional Responsibilities:
  Assisting with patient care involving diagnoses such as congestive heart failure, pneumonia, post-operative care, pediatric care, detox, and other med-surg conditions. Floating to other units as required, with a 3:1 nurse to aide ratio, and rotating weekend and holiday shifts.
• Certifications:
  
  ACLS, BLS (American Heart Association), NIHSS required for all RNs and LPNS, PALS recommended but not required.
• Training: 3-5 days of unit-specific orientation, including tour, policies review, and departmental training.
• Submission Requirements:
  Proper licensure documentation and certification proof required upon submission for consideration.
