RDH - PM Dental Hygienist

Overview

We are a long established dental practice under new ownership seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our wonderful team in Oakland, NJ. At the moment, the position is for Monday afternoons, half day shift from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with the opportunity for additional days in the future.

• Part-time position:
  Monday afternoons, 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM (half day shift). Additional days may become available as the schedule grows.
• Competitive hourly rate based on experience and credentials.
• Friendly working environment under new ownership.
• Part-time role that may eventually lead to a full-time opportunity if desired.

• Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing.
• Take X-rays and assist with patient assessments.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper sterilization techniques are followed.
• Work closely with the dentist to provide excellent patient care.

• Valid Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in New Jersey.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with dental software is a plus.
• Team player with a passion for patient care.
