The primary role of the Ultrasound Technologist is to independently perform professional‑level assessments and a variety of non‑invasive studies using ultrasound and related diagnostic technology as appropriate and record the results and preliminary clinical impressions as indicated. You will prepare patients for scans, operate the ultrasound equipment, and work with physicians to review vascular and echocardiogram images. You should interpret sonograms accurately, provide excellent patient care, and demonstrate acute attention to detail.
You will need to understand the clinical scenario and independently adjust exams accordingly.

What You’ll Do- Preparing and updating patients’ medical records.
- Ensuring that the lab, examination rooms, tools, and equipment are properly sterilized and maintained.
- Preparing patients for ultrasound examinations.
- Operating and maintaining ultrasound and plethysmography equipment.
- Performing sonographic examinations on patients to develop vascular images.
- Generating analytical reports and documentation from sonogram results.
- Assisting physicians with reviewing and interpreting ultrasound images.
- Communicating and explaining sonography examinations and results to patients.
- Performing administrative tasks such as managing patient schedules and filing diagnostic reports.
- Staying up to date with the latest advancements in sonography technology and techniques.
- Performing all modalities of echocardiography imaging including 2D, M‑Mode, Color flow, and continuous wave Doppler.
- Managing the process of uploading studies to a cloud‑based system.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Some college education with 1 year of working experience with vascular and echocardiograms.
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- Prefer BLS/ACLS certification.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team.
