Order​/Data Entry Assistant

Overview

Gourmet food company seeks individual to assist with sales order entry, fulfillment, and logistics.

• Receive orders via telephone and email
• Enter orders into computer system
• Provide customers with product and pricing information
• Update and maintain customer database
• Verify order accuracy, pricing, and shipping information
• Assist with freight quotes and scheduling
• Other responsibilities as assigned

• Proficiency in data entry and computer programs
• Meticulous and detail-oriented, scientific or mathematical higher education a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Cheerful and motivated, good attitude essential
• Equally comfortable working independently and as part of team
• Flexible, understanding that the needs of a small business are constantly evolving
• Able to lift 35 pounds
