Tax Preparer

We are seeking a Tax Preparer for a contract-to-hire opportunity with flexible hours based on the right candidate’s availability and experience. This role can be structured as either part-time or full-time and is ideal for a tax professional who is comfortable preparing a variety of tax returns in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with individual and business tax preparation and must have recent experience using Lacerte. This position offers the opportunity to join a growing team with long-term potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and/or trust tax returns

Gather, organize, and analyze client financial and tax documentation

Ensure accuracy and completeness of tax filings in compliance with current tax laws Communicate with clients and internal team members regarding tax documents, deadlines, and follow-up items

Identify and resolve tax-related issues and discrepancies

Assist with tax planning and other special projects as needed

Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive financial information
