Job Overview

The Exercise Coach® is hiring a Personal Trainer/Health Coaches for its Oakton, Virginia location. We specialize in overall strength training in one-on-one and small-group personal training sessions using innovative, high-tech, science-backed, proprietary AI & data-driven fitness equipment.

We also provide our clients with nutrition guidance to achieve optimal overall health. Our clients achieve meaningful, measurable, quantitative results that matter most to them with just two, 20-minute workouts per week, in a clean, safe, and private environment.

$20-24/hour based on prior work experience. Approximately $600-$720 per week assuming 30 hrs/week

Coaches are paid for all time in the studio, whether working with clients or not! Compensation is NEVER commission-based.

Part-time employees should expect approximately 20-40 hours/week. PM opportunity from 12:00pm to 8:00pm; plus one Saturday/month.

• Afternoon/Evening shifts available (Noon to 8:00pm, primarily)
• Saturday shift availability at times; closed on Sundays
• Primarily Morning Shifts (20-40 hours/week) + Some Saturdays
• PM opportunity from 12:00pm to 8:00pm; plus one Saturday/month

• Conducting exercise and health consultations with clients
• Leading individual exercise sessions using high-tech, motorized/computer-controlled equipment
• Demonstrating proper exercise instruction
• Providing exercise instruction to clients with physical limitations and history of injury
• Tracking fitness results for clients utilizing the data captured on computerized fitness equipment from each workout
• Selling monthly and package sessions to prospects
• Following up on leads including by phone and text
• Working with a team of fellow coaches to motivate and educate a broad range of client types
• All personal trainers/health coaches will receive paid training and certification in The Exercise Coach methods and technologies and must be able and willing to participate in both our exercise and nutrition methodology
• CPR/AED certification is required by the start of employment
• Basic computer skills required

• Enthusiasm for Health & Fitness and willingness to adopt our unique resistance training and concentrated cardio program
• Energetic, personable, empathetic, positive, strong verbal communicators, love helping people, and genuine interest in health and fitness. You must LOVE working with people!
• A college degree or background in Exercise Science, Kinesiology or a health-related field is a plus, but not required
• Current personal training certification or experience is a plus, but not required
• Experience working with companies highly regarded for delivering exceptional customer experiences is a plus, but not required
• All employees will receive full training (paid) in The Exercise Coach methods and technologies and must ultimately complete The Exercise Coach certification to train customers
• CPR/AED certification from a nationally recognized provider is required to train clients
• Other characteristics of an ideal candidate include being caring, upbeat, fun, collaborative, respectful of others, professional, and interested and open to new ideas
