Our client, based in Oakville, seeks an experienced Accounting Clerk to oversee accounts payable and receivable activities. Candidates should possess a post-secondary accounting diploma and demonstrate a solid grasp of accounting procedures. Responsibilities include processing vendor invoices, managing payments, and reconciling accounts while maintaining high efficiency in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner

• Reconcile vendor statements and address discrepancies

• Handle vendor inquiries regarding A/P professionally

• Apply payments and prepare aging A/R reports

• Monitor and follow up on overdue customer accounts

Requirements:

• Post-secondary diploma or certificate in Accounting

• Minimum of 1 year accounting experience required

• Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite

• Experience with Quick Books is advantageous

• Excellent communication and detail-oriented
