This position involves maintaining accurate job-cost records, overseeing financial transactions, and supporting project budgets and forecasts. With your proficiency in Quick Books Online, you'll prepare essential financial statements and reports while collaborating with project managers to track profitability effectively.
Your role will directly impact financial controls and operational efficiency in construction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain detailed job-cost records for projects
• Prepare, analyze, and report monthly financial statements
• Support Work-in-Progress reporting and budget tracking
• Manage full invoicing lifecycle and vendor relationships
• Assist with financial modeling and risk analysis for projects
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
• 2–4 years of relevant experience, ideally in construction
• Experience with job-costing and financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll and tax regulations
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
