Financial Controller at BITSUMMIT

Lead the finance function at BITSUMMIT as a Financial Controller in Oakville, Ontario. Control accounting, reporting, and internal processes in a dynamic IT and AI consulting environment.

This hands-on leadership role offers ownership over the complete finance operations  will oversee the accounting cycle, ensure precise financial reporting, and manage cash flow for various projects. Candidates should be self-directed, detail-oriented, and experienced in building processes in growth-focused companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own full accounting cycle including payroll and journal entries

• Produce accurate financial statements and management reports

• Manage cash flow and project profitability tracking

• Oversee client billing and revenue recognition processes

• Build and maintain accounting controls and procedures

Requirements:

• 5+ years in progressive accounting roles, ideally as a controller

• CPA designation preferred or nearing completion

• Experience with Quick Books and advanced Excel skills

• Strong knowledge of ASPE and tax regulations

• Self-directed with attention to detail
