Randstad has partnered with a leading organization, looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Bilingual French Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team, located in Oakville.

Bilingual Accounts Receivable Specialist (English/French)

Location:

Oakville (Fully Onsite)
Rate of Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 / hour
Job Type: 3-Month Contract (Temp-to-Perm)

Responsibilities

• Proactively connect with B2B customers in English and French via phone and email to secure payments, communicate account details, and resolve past-due balances.

• Investigate and resolve customer billing disputes by collaborating closely with AR Administrators and the Billing team to correct payment applications.

• Record all customer interactions detailed in People Soft and perform monthly risk reviews with management to identify delinquent accounts.

• Partner with internal stakeholders, including Sales, IT, and Accounting, to optimize collection strategies, process adjustments, and improve overall root-cause claim reductions.

• Support the dedicated 1-800 customer service line to address inquiries regarding incorrect payment applications, account adjustments, and billing errors.

• Provide proactive communication to store locations regarding commercial business account transaction procedures and promote efficient payment methods like EFT.

Skills:

Mandatory full professional fluency in both English and French (verbal and written).



Education & Experience:

A business degree or college diploma in commerce/accounting, paired with a minimum of 2 years of related experience in AR and reconciliations.

Technical Proficiency:
Proven experience utilizing a large ERP system (such as People Soft) alongside intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.



Core Competencies:

Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to independently manage organizational deadlines.
