Position: GTA Senior Accountant Audit Role
Advance with BDO as a Senior Accountant in the GTA Audit Practice, leading audit tasks and delivering high-quality service in a flexible work environment.

BDO is on the lookout for a Senior Accountant based in Toronto, Oakville, or Markham to handle various audit and review engagements. You will prepare financial statements and work papers while ensuring compliance with accounting regulations like IFRS and US GAAP. Building strong client relationships and contributing to business development are key aspects of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage audit and review engagements effectively

• Prepare financial statements and working papers

• Coordinate assurance engagements for diverse clients

• Foster positive relationships with clients and stakeholders

• Support efforts to expand services with current clients

Requirements:

• Must possess a CPA designation

• Minimum three years in external audit within public accounting

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards such as IFRS

• Excellent analytical and communication skills

• Strong team-oriented approach and problem-solving mind
