The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to Canadian public accounting and/or international or cross-border taxation
Responsibilities- Bookkeeping
- Financial statement compilations
- T1, T2, T3, non-resident tax filings
- Special election filings (rollovers, CDA, etc.)
- Specialty Forms like 1134, 1135 and T106
- Client representation to CRA for notices, requests, audits
- Supporting team members with research and ad-hoc requests from clients
- Communication with clients to facilitate administration or relaying of conclusions.
- Supporting the team with review engagement procedures
- 3+ years' of professional accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
- Pursuing CPA
