Experienced Cost Estimator

RLB is seeking an experienced Construction Cost Estimator to deliver precise cost evaluations on-site in Oakville, ON. Your expertise will support crucial construction projects.

With 3-5 years of experience, this full-time role requires a strong background in civil engineering and familiarity with cost strategies in construction. You will prepare labor and material estimates, analyze tenders, and create economic feasibility studies. The role demands accuracy and efficiency under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed construction cost estimates

• Read and analyze blueprints to assess project needs

• Prepare and submit tender documents and reports

• Advise clients on economic feasibility of projects

• Maintain an accurate database of cost data

Requirements:

• College education in Civil Engineering is a must

• 3-5 years of related estimating experience

• Proficiency with MS Excel and estimating tools

• Background in electrical and mechanical construction

• Membership in Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors preferred
