Position: Health and Safety Officer for Caivan
Drive safety compliance as a Health and Safety Officer with Caivan in the Greater Toronto Area. This on-site role focuses on inspections, hazard identification, and safety training.

Caivan is seeking a skilled professional to enforce safety policies and facilitate compliance across construction sites. This position involves significant site inspections, incident reporting, and training support. The officer will collaborate closely with the Construction Team to ensure a secure work environment and manage safety documentation effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine safety inspections of all assigned construction sites

• Maintain accurate Site Docs records for inspections and compliance

• Document incidents and support root cause analysis investigations

• Conduct orientations and safety training sessions for new hires

• Ensure regulatory readiness for inspections and emergency drills

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of site safety experience in construction

• Strong knowledge of OHSA and safety legislation

• NSCO Designation or Gold Seal Certification preferred

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

• CPR/First Aid certification essential
