Civil Estimator

Position: PCL Civil Estimator
Shape the future of infrastructure as a Civil Estimator at PCL Constructors Canada Inc. in Oakville, Ontario. Use your estimating expertise to support complex civil projects and enhance bid outcomes.

In this role, you will lead small to medium estimates while collaborating with the project team. Your experience will be key in performing detailed analyses of contract documents and completing accurate quantity take-offs. Further, you will mentor team members and engage with stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met successfully.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead estimates for civil infrastructure projects

• Analyze contract documents and specifications thoroughly

• Complete accurate quantity take-offs for labor and materials

• Support bid document control and organization

• Mentor junior estimators and maintain stakeholder relationships

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or related diploma

• 4 years of construction cost estimating experience

• Familiarity with delivery methods and compensation models

• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office

• Strong ability to solicit competitive pricing
