Ontario Building Permit Coordinator

Become a crucial part of the building permit ecosystem as an Ontario Building Services Representative.

In this role, you'll manage building permit applications from start to finish while ensuring compliance with the Ontario Building Code. You’ll calculate fees, issue permits, and engage with clients to clarify application requirements. Effective communication and organization will be key as you monitor application progress and assist with plan reviews when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Screen and process building permit applications

• Ensure compliance with the Ontario Building Code

• Calculate construction values and fees

• Conduct client meetings for application accuracy

• Process information requests and disclosures

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in related technology fields

• One year of relevant experience required

• Proficient in Ontario Building Code

• Strong organizational and communication abilities

• Experience in public interactions
