As an Estimating Student, available for a 4-16 month period starting January 2027, you will immerse yourself in the construction field, providing support in estimating and quantity surveying. This experience will be under the guidance of seasoned professionals, ensuring your growth in the sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement PCL’s estimating manuals and guidelines
• Analyze quantity survey assignments with the team
• Execute assigned quantity surveys consistently
• Communicate item quantities to purchasing for bids
• Build strong relationships with subcontractors
Requirements:
• Keen interest in a construction-focused career
• Field construction experience is beneficial
• Proficient with software applications, including spreadsheets
• Excellent communication abilities
• Readiness to undertake diverse tasks
