Elementary Teacher​/Tutor

Become a part-time Elementary Teacher/Tutor at Oxford Learning Oakville South, where your passion for education can transform student outcomes. This role focuses on teaching essential skills in language and social studies on weekday evenings and Saturdays.

As a teacher-tutor, you will work with elementary students, ideally holding a Bachelor’s degree or comparable certification. Familiarity with current K-8 curriculum and strong verbal skills are essential to effectively support and engage students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct up to three students at diverse levels

• Deliver lessons in person and online, as required

• Follow and apply Oxford Learning’s teaching methods

• Maintain detailed communication with students post-lesson

• Exhibit professionalism and guidance at all times

Requirements:

• Education degree or a related credential

• Previous teaching or tutoring experience preferred

• Excellent command of English, written and spoken

• Proficient in multitasking with several students

• Must be able to travel to Oakville
