As a part-time instructor, your responsibilities include developing lesson plans and teaching various cooking techniques to children, youth, and adults. You must be adaptable, independent, and capable of creating a positive atmosphere where participants can thrive in their cooking journey. Attention to health and safety standards is key.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and teach cooking programs tailored to different ages
• Maintain classroom safety and adhere to health protocols
• Engage participants with hands-on culinary experiences
• Assist in curriculum research and development
• Uphold safe food handling for participants
Requirements:
• Experience or education in Culinary Arts required
• Strong cooking skills across various techniques
• Prior teaching or instructional experience needed
• High FIVE Principles of Healthy Child Development certification
• Emergency First Aid with AED/CPR B certification
