Oxford Learning Oakville Uptown Core seeks dedicated Teacher-Tutors for math and science education. You will work with students in-person during after-school and evening hours, while using pre-planned lessons to guide student understanding.
Your role will foster self-confidence in students through supportive and skill-focused tutoring sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach up to three students at different levels
• Follow Oxford Learning methodologies and lesson plans
• Fill in post-lesson notes for progress tracking
• Provide daily communication updates to students
• Maintain a friendly, professional atmosphere
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Physics or similar education
• Experience tutoring Grade 9 to 12 math and science
• Strong English communication skills
• Ability to multitask with several students
• Must commute to Oakville and work evenings
