PositionSupply Chain Specialist (Onsite located in Oakville, ON Canada)

What You Will Do- Schedule Expediting:
Interfacing with the supplier’s sub‑tiers and driving delivery / problem resolution at those sites - Escalation to Collins for any supplier issues that will cause a schedule slip
- Driving delivery and problem resolutions (Processing and Technical Experience)
- Outside Processing Support:
Establish relationships with suppliers performing outside processing tasks - Create communication rhythm for regular updates and commitments from each supplier
- Coordinate any processing / capability issues with respective engineering teams
- Define specific chemical processing processes with suppliers and report on any bottlenecks, issues, gaps, and improvements
- Maintain Supplier Compliance, NDA / Reps and Certs / 3201 approval
- RFQ Creation and Processing Support:
Identify applicable suppliers - Develop RFQs for OPS based on business needs
- Submission and negotiate of RFQ with OPS Supplier
- Supplier Relationship Management and Supplier Requests for Information
- Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of prior relevant experience / or (in absence of a degree) 9–12 years of relevant experience
- Experience in Supply Chain Management or related analytic fields
- SAP previous experience
- MS Office Suite proficiency:
Excel–Pivot Tables and PowerPoint–creating presentations - Experience communicating and presenting to a wide variety of audiences
- Ability to analyze large sets of data with attention to detail
- Due to the nature of the work, you must be a Canadian Citizen or Canadian Permanent Resident
$62,000 – $65,000 CAD
Compensation and BenefitsCompensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job‑related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
Work Requirements- You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
- Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Due to the nature of the work, zero travel is required.
Citizenship RequirementDue to the nature of the work, you must be a Canadian Citizen or Canadian Permanent Resident.
