Join our team in Oakville as an Instrument Operator Technician on a one-year contract. This role focuses on operating and monitoring complex prototypes in a vibrant startup setting.
As an Instrument Operator Technician, you will be in charge of conducting extensive studies and managing data integrity within prototype development. The job requires a strong engineering focus coupled with an analytical mindset to ensure all instruments perform flawlessly. You’ll collaborate closely with chemists and software engineers while leveraging your programming skills for effective automation and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute various internal studies and V&V protocols
• Monitor and document real-time system performance
• Collaborate effectively with scientific and engineering teams
• Automate hardware interactions through programming
• Maintain precision calibration of test-ready components
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in engineering
• Direct experience with sensors and electromechanical systems
• Proficient coding skills for data handling
• Keen detail orientation to track anomalies
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation
Ensure the success of product studies by maintaining the performance of our prototype instruments, contributing significantly to team objectives.
