Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for certifying design documents aligned with ASME regulations. With a focus on industrial heating systems, your role will involve significant interaction with production and quality assurance teams. Drawing on at least three years of experience, you'll ensure that engineering designs meet safety and quality requirements effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Certify ASME Sect. I, IV, and VIII designs
• Prepare engineering reports and perform calculations
• Lead compliance assurance discussions with engineers
• Review project specifications for adherences
• Participate in troubleshooting of production issues
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• Professional engineer licensed in Ontario
• 3+ years in mechanical engineering
• Strong grasp of CSA and ASME codes
• Proficiency in design software tools
