Become a Works Infrastructure Technician with Raise Workforce in Oakville, ON. This key role involves regular inspections and coordination of infrastructure maintenance for efficient municipal operations.
In this contract-to-hire role, you will manage the oversight of roads, sidewalks, and bike paths, ensuring compliance with the Ontario Municipal Act. Ideal candidates will possess technical skills in engineering and experience in infrastructure maintenance, focusing on optimizing inspection routines and addressing deficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Document and report on road and sidewalk conditions
• Review and recommend improvements to inspection routes
• Track and manage infrastructure repair work orders
• Coordinate with various municipal departments and utilities
• Compile reports on infrastructure data and claim support
Requirements:
• Two-year Civil Engineering Technician diploma and 3-5 years' experience
• Strong skills in infrastructure applications, ACAD, and GIS
• Familiarity with health and safety legislation and municipal standards
• Excellent analytical and organizational abilities
• Class G Ontario Driver's License
