Reporting to the Manager, Design and Construction, you'll manage the lifecycle of significant infrastructure initiatives. This includes leading meetings, ensuring environmental compliance, and delivering on transportation and traffic safety projects. Your technical guidance will also support various departments within the municipality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize and manage environmental assessments and project delivery
• Supervise both in-house and contract technical personnel
• Control costs and manage capital expenditures effectively
• Negotiate land acquisitions and cost-sharing agreements
• Prepare and present contract documents for approvals
Requirements:
• CET designation and 8 years of experience in project management
• Strong leadership skills in engineering design and approvals
• Excellent communication for media and public inquiries
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and related software
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle for job duties
Utilize your engineering expertise to enhance community infrastructure through effective project management.
