Thurber is seeking a skilled Soils, Aggregates, and Concrete Laboratory Technician. This full-time role involves precise lab testing for geotechnical projects, preparing soil samples, and reporting findings. You'll contribute to key projects in transportation, construction, and environmental services while ensuring adherence to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct lab testing for geotechnical projects
• Prepare and set up soil samples for analysis
• Collect, reduce, and plot lab test data
• Conduct concrete and soils testing per CCIL/CSA
• Communicate test results effectively to engineers
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in Engineering Technology
• CCIL certification in lab testing
• Experience in lab environments and instrumentation
• Valid Class G Driver’s license
• Geotechnical Testing and Instrumentation course is an asset
