Position: MedTech Reliability Engineer Opportunity
Join a leading Med Tech company as a Senior Reliability Engineer in Ottawa, Ontario. This position emphasizes the development and implementation of reliability strategies for IVD devices.

This role requires an expert with a minimum of ten years in product and hardware reliability engineering, particularly in the Med Tech sector. You will lead critical assessments and testing programs, working in collaboration with R&D, quality, and manufacturing teams. Your contributions will ensure that our medical devices comply with various regulatory standards while maintaining high reliability thresholds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design reliability testing strategies for IVD medical devices

• Conduct DFMEA and PFMEA risk assessments

• Execute lifecycle testing programs including HALT and HASS

• Perform advanced life data analysis methods

• Collaborate on compliance with industry regulations

Requirements:

• More than 10 years of reliability engineering experience

• Proficiency in DFMEA, FTA, and HALT/HASS techniques

• Hands-on experience with Minitab or JMP is essential

• Familiarity with Python or MATLAB preferred

• Experience in medical devices or IVD industry
