Enhance your expertise with Ford of Canada as an Electrical Engineer specializing in Power Systems. This position is pivotal in ensuring the reliability of manufacturing electrical systems.
As an Electrical Engineer, you will leverage your Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and at least three years of experience in an industrial environment. Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining power distribution systems, troubleshooting electrical failures, and supervising essential maintenance tasks. Collaborate across teams to optimize equipment performance and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and maintain facility power distribution networks
• Quickly diagnose and repair electrical failures affecting production
• Lead preventive maintenance and safety studies
• Collaborate on capital project electrical installations
• Develop and maintain precise electrical documentation
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years in manufacturing environments
• Experience with MCCs, PLCs, and VFDs
• Strong understanding of electrical schematics and safety standards
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively
