Position: Project Leader for Municipal Engineering
Become a Project Leader in Municipal Engineering with the Town of Oakville on a 20-month contract. This role focuses on comprehensive project management, including public consultations and infrastructure development.

In this position, you will oversee municipal projects from initiation to completion, handling design approvals and construction logistics. Your impact involves addressing neighbourhood safety and enhancing transportation infrastructure through effective project execution and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage Class Environmental Assessments

• Mentor and guide technical support staff in projects

• Ensure compliance with municipal engineering standards

• Coordinate site assessments and pre-construction services

• Develop timelines for public notifications and media coverage

Requirements:

• Graduate from a Civil Engineering Technology program with CET designation

• Minimum 8 years' progressive design and construction experience

• Demonstrated ability to lead diverse project teams

• Strong report writing and communication skills

• Knowledge of relevant provincial standards and legislation
