Mid-Level Design Manager

Position: Mid-Level Design Manager at Kiewit
Take the lead at Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering as a mid-level Design Engineering Manager for transportation and energy initiatives. Oversee engineering teams on the Union Station Expansion Project in Toronto.

In this role, you bring over five years of experience and will manage design engineers while overseeing project budgets and schedules. Engaging with construction leaders and maintaining external partner relationships is crucial for identifying and pursuing design-build opportunities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Kiewit design engineers and affiliated subconsultants

• Supervise project schedules and budgets to ensure success

• Conduct constructability reviews and tackle technical challenges

• Build and maintain relationships with external design partners

• Support design-build pursuits from initial strategy to award

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years in design or construction management

• Bachelor’s in civil engineering or related discipline

• P. Eng required or Engineer in Training

• Strong communication and organization skills

• Willing to travel 25%-50% across North America
