Position: Project Leader for Infrastructure Projects
Join the Town of Oakville as a Project Leader for Capital Projects focused on ensuring safety and sustainability in infrastructure. Oversee all stages from project initiation to completion

This full-time position is a temporary 20-month contract role for those with significant experience in construction and environmental assessments. You will lead project teams, manage budgets, and liaise with multiple departments, bringing expertise from the fields of civil engineering and municipal planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute environmental assessments and designs

• Supervise technical staff and allocate project tasks

• Ensure adherence to budgets and timelines

• Coordinate pre-construction services and investigations

• Present project updates to Council and stakeholders

Requirements:

• Civil Engineering Technology degree and CET designation

• Minimum 8 years in project management

• Excellent presentation and communication abilities

• Familiarity with Ontario construction standards and regulations

• Vehicle availability for fieldwork as needed
