You will act as the primary link between field construction and engineering teams, facilitating project execution that aligns with guidelines and schedules. Your responsibilities will include addressing construction issues through effective communication, ensuring compliance to Oakville Hydro standards, and supporting engineering team initiatives throughout project phases.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate field construction activities for electrical distribution projects
• Engage with contractors and developers to support project timelines
• Conduct thorough field inspections to verify compliance
• Facilitate resolution for field issues and escalated concerns
• Maintain accurate documentation of construction activites
Requirements:
• 3-year diploma or 4-year Engineering degree from a recognized institution
• O.A.C.E.T.T. certification or eligibility for professional registration
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in the electrical utility sector
• Extensive knowledge of electrical standards and installation practices
• Class ‘G’ Ontario Driver’s Licence with good standing
