Civil Construction Engineering Technologist

In this pivotal position, you will coordinate field construction activities for residential, commercial, and industrial electrical projects. As a liaison between field teams and engineering, your expertise will support Oakville Hydro’s construction goals. We seek a highly organized individual with strong project management skills and a deep understanding of electrical theory to navigate and resolve construction challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate field construction activities for electrical distribution projects

• Liaise with contractors and consultants to facilitate project execution

• Monitor construction progress and enforce project schedules

• Conduct field reviews to ensure compliance with standards

• Support administration of construction contracts and documentation

Requirements:

• Engineering Technology diploma or Engineering degree

• Certification as a Technologist with O.A.C.E.T.T. or licensed Engineer

• Minimum 5 years field experience in electrical utility projects

• Strong communication and project management skills

• Valid Class “G” Ontario Driver’s Licence
