Experienced CAD Designer - Engineering Focused

Bring your engineering design expertise to Parklane as an experienced CAD Designer. This full-time position offers the chance to create detailed engineering drawings using advanced CAD software.

As a key contributor within the Engineering and Operations division, your responsibilities will involve the development of 2D and 3D designs aimed at improving mechanical systems and ensuring accuracy through calculations and sketches. This role emphasizes collaboration with BIM teams and detailed project support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and modify detailed 2D engineering drawings

• Collaborate with project BIM teams to ensure quality

• Conduct detailed clash analysis of system designs

• Develop internal design standards based on codes

• Compose project documentation and close-out materials

Requirements:

• Engineering Design degree or related technical field

• 2–5 years experience in engineering CAD design

• Strong AutoCAD proficiency; familiarity with Revit and Inventor preferred

• Detail-oriented with strong management skills

• Effective communication abilities for team integration
