Senior Project Advisor

Position: Senior Project Advisor at Halton Region
Lead municipal infrastructure projects with Halton Region as a Senior Project Advisor. This role emphasizes water and wastewater treatment project management in a hybrid work environment.

Join Halton Region's Public Works team and contribute to over $5 billion in infrastructure investments. You'll strategically oversee large-scale capital projects from design through to completion, guiding project managers and engineers while enhancing team capabilities. Your leadership and engineering expertise will be vital in ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage large water/wastewater treatment capital projects

• Supervise and mentor project managers and interns

• Interface with stakeholders including contractors and the public

• Obtain necessary approvals and permits for projects

• Enhance program delivery processes and best practices

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree in Engineering/Applied Science

• Minimum seven years of progressive project management experience

• Background in water/wastewater design and SCADA systems

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Valid driver's license for site visits
